Midori Matcha is a premium UK-based tea brand dedicated to authentic Japanese matcha. Their promise centres around providing organic, pesticide-free, family-farmed teas that aim to bring focus, calm and everyday ritual to modern life.

To bring that ethos to market, Midori Matcha sought our help to handle the complete launch: brand identity, packaging and a Shopify store set up to trade cleanly from day one.


The task was to create an identity that feels premium and wellness-led, with practical brand guidelines the team can apply consistently, develop packaging that presents the range cohesively and can be adapted as new products launch, and design a Shopify site that balances commerce with storytelling.

Alongside the creative work, the brief called for sound technical setup (core SEO and key marketing integrations) - a strong foundation to support future campaigns and product launches.

What we did

Brand identity and logo design

We designed a clean, premium identity and logo that reflect Midori Matcha’s calm ethos. The thoughtful creative was designed to work consistently across digital touchpoints and packaging.

Packaging design

We crafted retail-ready packaging labels, designed to unify the product range and distinguish variants without losing cohesion.

Shopify website design and build

Using an off-the-shelf theme as a base, we customised typography, layout, and brand elements to create an online store that sells the product story as much as the product itself. Judge.me was configured to capture and manage reviews.

Launch & growth set-up

To give the Midori team the tools to grow with confidence, we integrated Littledata with Shopify and GA4 (alongside the brand’s other analytics tools). Before launch, we completed a detailed pre-launch checklist covering performance, UX and SEO, and connected sales channels (Google, Meta, TikTok) via Shopify’s native tools.

Early results and signals are strong. We saw healthy session volume for a new brand, buying intent showed up in carts and checkouts, and their Premium Uji Matcha quickly became a best seller.

Just one week after the launch, Midori Matcha landed its first retail placement - proof that good branding doesn’t just sell products, it opens doors.
