The challenge
Ahead of Black Friday, the CROSSIP team wanted to revamp their website across the board, focusing on improving the customer journey and functionality. In addition to this, they wanted to clean up the back end so it was easier to manage.
In our initial efforts to improve the website, we decided to focus on specific areas that could bring quick and effective results, before embarking on a full website overhaul. We started with tackling the re-categorisation of recipe pages, where we opted to categorise them by complexity and flavour at the first level. We also implemented some development, UX and optimisation improvements as part of this project to enhance the overall user experience.
After the successful implementation of these updates, we carried out a full website upgrade to Shopify v2.0, which led to further improvements. Our main focus was to bring their brand to life and, most importantly, increase their average order value (AOV) and conversion rates.
