The challenge
Beards & Daisies, a leader in an incredibly competitive online houseplants market, reached out to us in 2021 with big plans in mind.
Tasked to initially focus on designing and building a brand new theme, Beards & Daisies also had a wishlist of new features they wanted to implement.
Over the years, we worked in close collaboration with their team to continually improve and optimise the site. Whilst keeping the site updated with important Shopify updates, we also looked at areas to improve, honing in on cross-sells and upsells and the ability to add on various products.
Other features that have been implemented with great success include the ability to select a delivery date using a date picker functionality, making it easier for people to order gifts and presents in advance. With plants and pots being extremely giftable items, we also created bespoke gift cards.
A Technical Partner To Grow With
Over the years, we positioned ourselves as Beards & Daisies’ technical growth partner. This collaborative partnership helped us to embed ourselves into the business to truly understand the Beards & Daisies consumer base, brand and business needs so we could actively look to suggest and implement meaningful site improvements.
One focus became increasing Average Order Value. To approach this, our team performed an in-depth audit to present some solutions and ways we could look to help Beards & Daisies increase this. As a result of implementing some of those solutions, the brand saw a 33% increase in AOV.
