Ava Rose Hamilton bridal boutique, a long-term website client of Squashed Pixel, has today made the exciting announcement that they’ve been selected as the wedding dress provider for the new season of TLC’s hit UK reality TV show, “Say yes to the dress Lancashire”! #SYTTDLancs
We’re all absolutely thrilled for them and we’re looking forward to seeing owner, Paula Chappell and her team hit our screens with presenter Gok Wan in 2019.
“Being told we’d been selected for the show was such a surprise – it’s incredible and it’s been very hard staying tight lipped about it until today’s announcement by the production company!” – Paula Chappell
Claire Gatenby, Director here at Squashed Pixel, is just as excited by our client’s news but is, somehow, still managing to keep a level head!
“We’d been working with Paula on a new website design, which was just about to go live,” she says, “but we’ve taken the joint decision to hold off just a little longer and defer the launch until next week so that everyone can just relax and enjoy this moment.”
“In the meantime, we’re putting extra resource into monitoring the number of visitors to Paula’s existing website,” adds Claire, “then we can add extra bandwidth to the site if the announcement causes any sudden surges in traffic.”
“It’s a service we provide to all our hosting clients as standard whenever they organising a big event or promotion, but something like this is a first for all of us!”
