Using Shopify POS

The Shopify POS comes in a few flavours, with hardware or as software only. Opting for the hardware package means centralising your full retail eco-system, with your till, cash drawer, barcode scanner and barcode printer all running through the same system.

Whichever way you go Squashed Pixel can help you get your POS and online store up and running incredibly quickly. We also offer ongoing support and help with your Shopify POS, whether we've installed it or you've installed it yourself.

The Install Process

We understand that installing a new POS in your retail space can be seen as quite a daunting process. We endeavour to make the change over as smooth as possible for you.

Before anything is done in your shop the POS is set up off-site. We make sure all your product and customer data is in there ready to go and that all your hardware has been tested and is fully working.

Once we're in your shop it's then just a case of getting things in the right place and training you, and your staff on how to use the new set up.

Training

The Shopify POS is incredibly intuitive, it's been designed from the ground up to be used in a retail environment by busy people.

As with any new system there is a short learning curve though. Once we've installed your system we'll show you through it all from end to end, how to take payments, cash up the till, managing cash floats right through to adding products to the POS and online site as well as stock takes and managing orders.
